goodbye diary...

Dear Diary,
haha...i just wanted to do that...i will never start another one with 'dear diary', don't worry. How is everyone? i'm sure i lost millions of my loyal readers b/c i'm super duper lazy and don't blog as much as i used to when i was on tour...it's mainly b/c i'm not sitting at my computer 24/7 like i would be if i were cramped up in a van with the dudes, eatin beef jerky and drinkin redbulls...(i actually don't drink redbulls anymore..they're really bad for you)...anyways, we've been home for a while workin on a new record, playin some shows here and there...and makin some money...yes, band dudes do have to make some money while they're home...my job/life is music...but if i'm not touring, i'm not working...so i bartend at a bar in town called Finnegan's...some of you may know of it b/c we took some of you there after a hometown show...it's a good time...we actually have played there twice and both times were crazy shows...much fun had by all...we were thinkin of playin again soon before we start recording our new songs...but we'll see...i work there everyone Wednesday and some random shifts if they need help and i'm not in jersey with the band rehearsing and writing...or playing softball with my Co-ed town rec team, "the Dead Rabbits"...pretty awesome name, "don't cha think?"...it's from the movie 'Gangs of New York'...Leo DiCaprio's gang, they hang the rabbit in the center of town to let everyone know that they are there...it's bad ass...and we have a really good softball team...last year we were the 'Go-Gettaz' and took first place in the season and won the playoffs...so there! but if anyone has a softball team and wants to challenge us, let me know...we'll beat you...haha...

hmm...what else is goin on? i just woke up, and allergies are completely winning the fight over my sinuses...my head is pounding and i feel all stuffed up and heady...I'm blogging now, but i'll make some iced coffee in a bit to wake up while i eat some cheerios, maybe even cheerios crunch? i don't know, haven't decided...I'll prolly hang out on the porch and read for a few and probably check the baseball games and make some small bets...gotta bet on the dodgers...Manny is back and the Mets and I don't really get along these days haha...I'm actually going to the Mets/Dodgers game tonight...I'll be rockin my LA hat...i haven't been to Citi field yet...but i heard it's nice...i made it to the new Yankee Stadium first and it was absolutely beautiful...larger than life...you can legit see the whole field from anywhere and even while you're walking around the stadium...that was the first time i found myself rooting for the yankees...i was more rooting for Mark Teixiera though, b/c he's on my fantasy team...ha...

so what has everyone been up to? i don't have facebook or myspace anymore so i don't have instant contact with anyone...but i wanna know how everyone is and what everyone is up to? i'll prolly only get like 3 people responding but it's a start lol...that just means you should get out there and tell people about my blog...start an Army of Fitz's...ya know...go on to myspace and facebook and every other networking place and tell people to come here...free cookies and milk!

oh we have a show at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, NY this thursday (July 9th)...we go on at 6PM and our friends band goes on at 7 (Love and Logic)...and after that there is a big movie screen showing "Madagascar: escape 2 africa"...it's gonna be random and fun...so if you're anywhere in the area..come out and hang low...
