if you ask me...the biggest losers in this past election are the insane Obama supporters...the loons that you would see plastering they're kids with Obama buttons and pins and repainting their houses in the cute little NOT-SO-HEALTHY-FOR-THE-EARTH signs that you see on every corner as you drive through Jersey City...it's ridiculous...there's not just one...there's thousand in EVERYONE's yard...well not only do they hafta clean up the complete mess they made of there city...but...now, what the hell are they gonna do with their worthless lives? they've spent the past year and a half devoted to forcing Obama-talk into unrelated convos in coffee shops all over the United States...and now that Obama won the election...what's next...Obama will not need their dumb asses for four years when America is in the midst of another civil war...when people realize they got shafted and Obama isn't paying their bills like he said he would, or affordable healthcare for their families(the kind you hafta 'pick a number' and wait on a list months long just to get a checkup and the doctors are substandard [it'll be like the DMV]), like he said he would...or so that's what they thought he was saying, but he didn't really say anything except 'change' and 'hope'...genius...you say positive words over and over, pretty soon people will believe them...they were voting for 'change' after all...right? i'm not knocking peoples vote...if Obama's plans will legit help you then, great...you got your vote...but...i hope to God that you did your research on him...and you're getting exactly what you wanted...bc he's about to tax the shit out of hard working Americans...i personally believe you shouldn't vote for selfish gain though...you should vote for what's best for the country...Obama is not the best thing for this country...he's a great speaker and he swayed the vote of a nation...but so did Hitler, he was a great speaker too...in the time of need, in Germany, Hitler got up and promoted 'change' and 'hope' in a time of crisis...just remember too...if there was a sex scandal, a presidential candidate would be questioned on his morals and most likely lose an election...we almost impeached a president for that...but for some reason 'sketchy' terrorist links and family ties are nothing to mark as something to look into anymore...how about the Muslim extremist cult that Obama belongs too...or belonged to...i'm not saying that as if being a muslim is a bad thing...but i'm pretty sure the media NEVER questioned it...
so, when the next attack on the U.S. comes...you're gonna wish you had someone to protect you...and it sure as hell isn't gonna be the dude in the office come January who wants to take away your right to bear arms...and i don't mean big hairy arms, with sweet claws used to catch salmon swimming up river...as you can tell i feel America has let America down this election...but i'm gonna move on...probably move in with some friends in England or maybe Australia...anyone got a couch...and i'm gonna play acoustic shows with Todd for the next four years while he rubs it in my face that the old white man didn't win the election and we now have our first pop-n-lockin prez ever...i don't know if you saw him dance on the Ellen show? but he cannot...John McCain at least has an excuse for not being a good dancer...he got the shit kicked out of him by the Vietnamese when he was a POW...prisoner of war...they beat him to near death because they wanted information about the U.S.'s plans...he said nothing...he protected the country then...what makes you think he wouldn't now? he's a real American Hero...and America proved that all they need is a diva with a sweet catch phrase, this election turned into 'American Idol'...but McCain...you need change?...then apparently you can't have him as president...because he somehow resembles George W. Bush? is THAT racist? that's the answer i've been getting from people...they don't want 'another' Bush in the White House...McCain is nothing like Bush...he's as close to a Democrat as you can get without being one...he was actually gonna run third party years back...and who was his VP running mate gonna be? oh yea, Biden...he didn't end up running but Biden thought there wasn't a better man for the job...and people only dislike Palin b/c of her accent, and the fact that Tina Fay can look identical to her and make herself look stupid...if you ask me, she's hot and she completely cleaned up corruption in Alaskian politics...but you wouldn't know anything about the 'Guiliani of the way North West', bc you just blindly followed Mr. Barrack's words into thinking she wasn't qualified to lead the country...she was running for VP...Obama was the presidential candidate and he's not ready to lead a country...if something happens to him, just know that Biden openly admitted that he sure as hell wasn't ready to run the country, he actually stated that Hilary would have been a much better running mate for Obama b/c he wasnt qualified...AND Biden also backed McCain...weird how things work out...
anyways...i'm sick of politics...i hope Obama solves all your problems...because that's what he promised you..and we gotta deal with his socialist views for four years...
on an awesome-er note ...Todd and I just rocked an acoustic show in Trenton, NJ for WTSR radio at the College of New Jersey...it was sweet as hell...first though we got there 2 hours early...and didn't know where to go so we figured driving around the campus would work and maybe we'd see a sign for the building we needed...quickly after making a turn down an alleyway the road turned to a wide sidewalk and we were now traveling through crowds of student walking to and from class...at first we just figured they were in the street..and then we realized we were cruisin on the sidewalk...everyone was lookin at us funny...so now two random dudes in a white saturn SUV are tearin it up through the sidewalks of the school drawing TONS of attention, we find an exit...lucky for us there was a police officer at the exit of this sidewalk...he quickly jumped out of his car screaming for us to pull over and he ran up to the car..we KNEW we were done...Johnny Law had finally caught up to Fitzy and the Todd Bandit...el Bandito they call him in parts of Mexico and North Dakota...this guy looked like he was gonna ream us one...so he took my info and went back to the car...we could see students walking by talking about us, "those are those sexy dudes who were speeding through campus, i think one of em is el Bandito from Cancun" no joke someone said that...Todd heard it...i did not...come to think of it...i think he gave himself the name 'el Bandito' and told everyone to use it...anyways...we got soooooo lucky and the cop played guitar and we chatted about guitars and the show and poof...he disappeared...not really, he gave me my liscense back and told me to stay off the sidewalk...we did not have any encounters with Johnny Law until 5 mins before our show...he showed up!!!! he wanted to see us play so we gave him a cd...how badass are we...we turn the law onto ourside...this is not the first time we got a police officer to come a show...the first time was in australia...we get questioned by an airport cop...and the next day when we came back through that city, guess who was front row at the festival...my homeboy the Aussie P.O. ...yea i know...i'm great...
um...what else...election coverage, the acoustic show...oh yea...two days ago i got the first half of a root canal done...major suck... i finish up on tuesday...gonna be tons of fun...i'm sleepy...gnite neverland...

But yes, the media did question his Muslim connections. I remember hearing about it all the time.

No. The ways in which he resembles Bush are in the way he voted on subjects. The majority of the time, him and Bush were in agreement. People were ready to have Bush out of office, and McCain was not that difference that they wanted. And how is McCain and Bush voting the same way being racist?

When you make claims about someone, you need to make sure you have legit sources for all of this.
And I know that some of this is opinion. But some is fact and can be backed.
Now, everything I just told you came from a 15 year old who never really followed each candidate because I can’t vote. But I have defended both parties from various parties, so I have at least an idea about what’s going on.
And just to throw in some of my opinion. I did choose who I supported for selfish reasons. Obama said he would put a plan to take troops from Iraq. While I don’t know for fact that he will do this, I put my faith in the fact that he would. But if McCain had said that he would take troops out ASAP, I would have supported him in an instant.
I do not want to see my dad going back to the Middle East to fight a war that I don’t know why we are fighting.
Its time for innocent people on both sides of the war to stop dying for un-justified reasons
Oh Fitz your post made me sad. Not because I disagree with you (though I do) but because it was rife with misconceptions.
Obama did more than repeat change and hope. He had a definitive plan explained on his website. If you were a hardcore McCain supporter, I’m not surprised you didn’t check it out, but it was there. Do I believe he won’t raise any taxes and have tons of kickass programs and not run a deficit? Hell no. But I also don’t believe that McCain would be able to implement all his plans, and cut everyone’s taxes simply by cutting earmarks and finding so-called inefficiencies in government spending.
We did impeach Bill Clinton but he wasn’t convicted. He was impeached not for having an affair, but for lying about it.
Obama doesn’t have terrorist ties. He served on a board with Bill Ayres. That doesn’t make him a terrorist. He’s also not a Muslim, he’s a Christian. Don’t you remember his crazy preacher? He was a Christian preacher, not a Muslim preacher. The media never questioned a “Muslim extremist cult” because it’s not true.
Oh, and you probably shouldn’t move to Australia because they have socialized medicine there. Just a heads up. Plus I'm not in Australia, so I couldn't come to any Drive By shows and that would make me sadder than your original post.
