...the past is upon us...

Howdy ya'll! just wanted to check back..i'm sitting on my couch...just chillin...workin on my new clothing store...you pickin up what i'm puttin down? i had the idea for the store, the other day...and when i say "the other day" i really mean about noon o'clockish on a tuesday...i just figured everyone wants to rock gear that has my name on it...it's pretty amazing don't ya think? i'm pretty amazing...

i just updated the shirts and added an "ANDY and the little people" and an "Everyday Decoy" shirt...let me explain...
Andy and the little people was a group invented by one of my friends...his name happens to be Andy...and he jokingly pokes fun at me and my lifestyle b/c i'm in a band, and decided he would start one of his own...featuring him and everyone else i know who isn't in MY band...hence "the little people"...you know the saying "don't forget the little people"...well, i ended up helping them record a song entitled "Growing Up V-Block" at my boy Jon's recording studio (Cogent Recordings)...it's some funny ass shit comprised of a bunch of us speakin out about how we used roll and how we grew up...it's mainly just some fun about the stupid shit that used to go down in our small hamlet of Valhalla, where there is absolutely nothing to do...

The other shirt, "EVERYDAY DECOY", was the name of a band i used to play in...i thought i'd make a shirt just for shits and giggles...i mean...this was the band that made me want to make music my life...i've been in bands my whole life but this one showed promise...we were just a juvenile pop-punk band with loud guitars and melodic vocals, but we did the damn thing...we got one of our songs played on z-100 for a quick stint in a contest...a contest which i signed up for drunk one night as a joke...Z-100 is probably the biggest radio station in the tri-state area(NY,CT,NJ)...and they ended up loving what we were doing and gave us a shot and played our song "Trouble on 17" for the whole Z-100 audience (one tuesday at noon...haha)...it was a rush to hear us on the radio...we dealt with some hardship and eventually fell apart but stayed positive...the drummer of Everyday Decoy is someone you may know...his name is Jaeson Hertzberg and he happens to have joined me in the grieving process after "E.D."...we overcame shit and stuck together through it all and now we are in Drive By together and are still lookin up...

on another note...i would like to say congrats to the NY Giants for defeating the Dallas Cowboys 21-17 in the NFC playoffs...i have a lot of Giant fan friends...i personally am a baseball fan, New York Mets to be exact...butin football, i took a liking to the Green Bay Packers back in the 90's...i kinda like the pride...theyr'e a small town but they're die-hard about their team and i love that about them...plus they have awkward colors...Green and Yellow...who does that? Brett Farve and the boys do...

anyways...i'm gonna get to bed early tonight...i mean it's Sunday, and i will be heading to New Jersey for a little Drive By rehearsal...i'll take some pics of the practice space and update a little tomorrow...see ya round!
